How to, Exterior lights check

Checking your exterior lights is super important to ensure everything works well while you are

on the road. We recommend checking your lights before each adventure in your vehicle to keep you and your passengers safe.

Read on below how to check your exterior lights properly.

Headlights

To check your headlights, turn on the dipped headlights and exit the vehicle, check both

headlights are functioning, return to the interior and switch to your main beam setting, exit the vehicle and check both illuminate as they should. Lastly, switch to your fog lights and walk around the vehicle and check both front and rear fog lights work as they should.

Rear brake lights

Apply your brakes while stationary and have someone else check the rear brake lights are

functioning, if you are alone use reflections from other vehicles or windows to check both lights illuminate.

Indication lights front and rear

Switch on your hazards and walk around the vehicle to check all 4 indication lights illuminate.

Awning lights

Switch on the awning light and check that it illuminates and works correctly.

Any outside lights

Switch on any outdoor lights attached to your vehicle and check they illuminate and work

correctly.
